I have worked for Northern VA Academy of Early Learning since 2001 when I moved to this area. The curriculum and teachers are beyond words. There is a love and devotion that I have not ever experienced in my 20 years of teaching. The owner is very involved with her schools and takes pride in them. She makes a point to come to the schools and interact with the children and teachers. She is not above getting in there and helping any way she can. This is not a normal practice I have found in the past. The children, their families and her staff are her number one priority. The children excel beyond my belief and I give credit to the staff and their love for children. I have a long commute to work at Northern Virginia Academy of Early Learning and I would not change it. The love for learning, and the togetherness I have here I would not give this up for anything. We are all here for the children and it shows, this is their second home and we are their second family. It all began 30 years ago this year (2009)and will continue as long as there are children in the community that need to experience the love for learning that Northern Virginia Academy of Early Learning has to offer.

I would like to nominate Annandale Play-Care Inc. as one if not the BEST CHILDCARE CENTER IN NORTHEN VA. As a preschool teacher of 18 years at Annandale Play-Care there is no other place I could ever be. The program is a teacher's dream. At our center the teachers' express a love for their job like I've never seen before. The children learn using the High Reach curriculum which they love. Learning is painless and fun for the children and the teachers' as well. This year our school scored in the top 10% in the nation and had a blast doing it too!!! I love my job at Annandale Play-Care its my second home!!
