Those in the mood for winning electro-pop want to check out “The Quiet Hype” (Chime Entertainment), the newest effort from California duo Jupiter Rising. Comprised of singer Jessie Payo and producer/vocalist Spencer Nezey, Jupiter Rising rocked the charts with the 2006 single “Go!” and hit more than 2.5 million plays on MySpace with “Electropop.” They break out more dance jams on their new CD, and the twosome earns some instant cred with the “Sex and the City” faithful with the “Prada bags, Gucci shoes, Louis V, Jimmy Choos” mantric verse on “L.A. Girls.”
