Pick your favorite flicks with Flickchart

By Brian Truitt

We’ve all argued with friends about the best movies ever. Flickchart.com takes the debate to a whole new level. The new social media site is all about letting web-surfers rank their favorite movies of all time and share their choices. But getting there is the fun—and agonizing—part. You get two movies at a time, and simply choose the best one. “Star Wars” versus “Gigli.” Easy, right? Darth Vader all the way. Yet the more time you spend choosing—and you will spend hours, it’s that addictive—the harder those matchups get. “Ghostbusters” versus “The Empire Strikes Back”? That’s just unfair. Once you’ve made your profile, you can find out what movies you haven’t seen that rank high for the rest of the site’s community, so you have something to watch on your next night in.
