Destination: If you’re in Purcellville and looking to shop, Re-Love It is the place to be. Not only is the consignment shop conveniently located in the Old Town shopping district, it’s across the street from the landmark Nichols Hardware Store.
Atmosphere:
The husband and wife team greet you as you walk into the store, as does the ’60s and ’70s music you can’t help bopping around to. The giant store is filled, floor to ceiling, with merchandise, ranging from Bloomingdale’s tops to vintage home décor. Kids will be happy to find the TVs, chalkboard and coloring books that are always available and just for them.
Bread and Butter: You will find high-end merchandise for affordable, consignment prices. Clothing racks are also filled with retail favorites like Anne Klein, Chico’s, LOFT and more. Along the walls you can find department store items from Nordstrom and Macy’s.
Sweet Surprises: “It’s that item that you can’t afford, that you really, really want and then you go in there and—oh my gosh—there are the boots you’ve wanted for so long. And I can afford them.” says owner Kim Patterson. “You just fall in love with it.”
Fiercest Fan:
Women and men ready to sift through an endless number of name-brand items for unbelievably affordable prices or unique items for the home. As consignment style becomes more and more popular, don’t be surprised to find shoppers from all over Virginia stopping by.
Blows To The Budget: Average prices for clothing are $20, but can go as high as $75 to $100. —Taylor Ness
