If government contractor cum entrepreneur Ammar Yousuf has his way, famished office drones will never again have to perform emergency surgery on mangled, tattered or otherwise unidentifiable dollar bills just to procure an afternoon pick-me-up.
Yousuf and his brother/business partner, Farooq, launched their online vending portal, Snack&Munch, earlier this spring and have reportedly already received orders from as far away as Hawaii.
Their concept is simple enough: Choose up to 24 of your favorite snacks (roughly $1 a pop) from their globe-spanning catalog—they deal in everything from Kit Kat bars and bags of Hot Fries to strawberry-covered Pocky (Japanese) and sweet potato cream cakes (Korean)—and they’ll ship them to you, free of charge.
“Our goal is to have the biggest vending machine online,” Ammar says, noting that that he’d ultimately like to have 500-600 snacks from around the world in their arsenal.
