Spooning, the Nancy’s Candy Co. Way

In a world where there seems to be a Starbucks on every other block, coffee additives might seem terribly passé.

But as any victim of that last cup of lukewarm, hours-old, so-obscenely-bitter-it’s-actually-palate-deadening coffee in the office coffee pot can attest, not every cup of Joe is as rewarding as it could be.

Until now.

Nancy’s Candy Co. founder Nancy Galli may have cut her teeth on homemade fudge and gourmet truffles, but the industrious confectioner has since graduated to a slew of novelty products designed to inject a little sweet into the everyday grind.

Her flavored spoons do just that, each ½-ounce serving—coffee stir-ins include: amaretto, raspberry, orange brandy, Bailey’s Irish cream, hazelnut and Kahlua; hot chocolate stir-ins (pre-loaded with mini marshmallows, of course) include: regular, peppermint, raspberry and cinnamon—delivers custom blasts of specialty sweets that transforms once-plain beverages (coffee, steamed milk) into on-the-fly chocolate therapy sessions.
