If the cold weather, 5 o’clock sunsets and transitioning of retail store décor from black-and-orange to red-and-green didn’t give it away already, the Christmas Market really lets us know that the holiday season has arrived!
Just in time for super duper holiday shopping, The 19th Annual Northern Virginia Christmas Market is returning to NoVA this weekend. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 300 artisans from around the nation will offer their jewelry, photography, pottery and more for purchase. It’s never too early—literally—to start gathering gifts and the Christmas Market is sure to provide thousands of one-of-a-kind treats for your loved ones.
Favorites returning this year include specialty pet bowls from Pet Diners Plus, handmade jewelry and accessories of silver, bronze, copper and semi-precious stones from Originals by Zaida and handmade wooden toys from Blue Ridge Salvage. The market will also feature 20 “Taste of the Holidays” food vendors with delicious gourmet foods (cookies, ciders, jams, etc.), perfect for gift baskets and stockings… or for indulgent snacks while you shop.
The Christmas Market opens at 10 a.m. each day and closes at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults and there is no charge for children under 12. Bring a canned food item for the Capital Area Food Bank and receive $1 off. You won’t find these original creations anywhere else!
