Are you a professional photographer looking to promote your work, or is photography your hobby and you’re interested in improving your skills? Or are you just a simple appreciator of photography and art? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions then the 2012 Nature Visions Expo is your destination this weekend.
This annual event shows-off the work of photographers from all over the U.S who click pictures of nature at its best. Over 300 images will be featured in the expo’s exhibit. From up-close shots of flowers in a garden to a panorama shot of a valley of mountains, there are arrays of pictures everyone will find enjoyable to gaze at.
Seth Resnick is the keynote speaker for this year’s expo. Resnick is known as one of the “top 30 influential photographers of the decade” by Photo District News Magazine. He has over 2,500 publications and is known for his graphic work in both natural and created light. Resnick will speak on his work and how he transforms an ordinary image into one that is beautiful. Aspiring photographers and graphic designers are encouraged to attend his speech, in addition to his full-day seminar helping others refine their photo skills.
For camera enthusiasts or those looking to beef up their cameras with bigger lenses and other cool gear, top camera vendors will be selling every gadget you need.
Advanced registration has already closed but passes can be bought at the door. On Sunday, the expo is free from 2:30 p.m. until the end of the day. Times vary throughout the day, so check the schedule of events for the presentations you find most compelling to attend.
