With just a few weeks to go before food geeks march into multiplexes to worship at the altar of “Julie & Julia,” chefs Jonathan Krinn and Jon Mathieson are looking to whet everyone’s appetite with a three-course tasting menu plucked directly from Julia Child’s defining work, “Mastering the Art of French Cooking.”
The Child’s inspired meal includes your choice of:
* French salad or classic vichyssoise;
* Casserole-roasted chicken with tarragon or smothered beef brisket; and,
* Cherry clafouti
The meal will run $48 per person, and will be available at the Inox bar from 5-10 p.m., Monday through Friday from August 3 through August 31.
Meanwhile, Inox is also offering to secure tickets for those who might want to catch the culinary biopic/Cinderella blogging story at the Tysons Corner Center theaters–post-meal, of course.
