Tired of stale popcorn, flat sodas, and petrified candy that costs more than your movie ticket? Me too! Thankfully, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Winchester has changed the way I feel about food at the movies.

Instead of the aforementioned snacks that suck, The Alamo Drafthouse offers beer, wine, and a full gourmet menu while you relax in stadium seating. From “Moonstruck” Margherita pizza to a Chicago Dog, almost any food you can imagine is available and will be served to you while you focus on your movie.

Besides the delicious food, there are tons of draft beers, bottled beers, red wines, white wines, and even champagne. Order some fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and a glass of Prosecco Rebuli or go for the Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA with a pulled pork sandwich.
The options are vast, and most likely you will end up spending about the same or less than that soda and stale popcorn. In fact, your food is made to order and is fresh, unlike the food that sits all day in the window at your regular theater.

Besides the price, the drinks, and the food, it is very convenient to get your food at Alamo Drafthouse. All you do is settle in your seat, write what you want on a slip of paper, and then sit back and relax as it is all brought to you. Need another beer? Just write it down. No need to get up or miss part of the movie. No more juggling 3 drinks and a large popcorn in one arm and your kid in the other. That alone is worth the visit.
