Papa John’s has announced that if the Steelers and Packers go overtime at the Super Bowl, then they will give FREE pizza to”everyone” in America. To clarify, “everyone” meaning those who register for Papa John’s online customer loyalty program called Papa Points. Consumers must sign up before 11:59 pm ET on Saturday, February 5 to be eligible. I just signed up and it was very simple!
If the Steelers and Packers go overtime, then everyone who has registered for Papa Points will be awarded 25 pizza points on Monday, February 7 , which will get you a FREE, large, three-topping pizza. The 25 pizza points will be valid until June 30 of this year.
Overtime is a bigger deal this postseason because each team now has the opportunity to possess the ball at least once in the extra quarter unless the team that receives the overtime kickoff scores a touchdown on its first possession.
I say the Packers and Steelers should collectively make a deal to go overtime so we can all get some free pizza!
Also a reminder that tomorrow is Vegan Pizza Day! There are more restaurants that are celebrating this day like the Lost Dog Café and Toscana Grill, both in Arlington. If you’re going to be in DC, check out VegDC for more places commemorating Vegan Pizza.
