Memorial Day Weekend at Salamander Resort & Spa
May 25-26
Salamander has a full docket of events during Memorial Day Weekend starting with a pickle ball tournament on Friday. On Sunday, there’s an outdoor barbecue with burgers, bratwursts and blues music. There’s also a pool party to kick off the summer with water games, a slip ‘n’ slide, live music and a pizza pool float. // Salamander Resort & Spa: 500 N. Pendleton St., Middleburg   

Annual Pig Roast at Tim’s Rivershore
May 25-28
The pig roast at Tim’s will last all weekend. Expect live entertainment, beachfront and waterside seating, a tiki bar and a variety of pork dishes. // Tim’s Rivershore: 1510 Cherry Hill Road, Dumfries

Woodbridge Beer Fest
May 26, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Brew Republic Bierwerks is taking over Stonebridge along with dozens of other local craft breweries including 2 Silos, Crooked Run, Old Ox, Port City, Solace and more. The festival will feature beer, wine, food, live music and kid-friendly activities. // Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center: 15201 Potomac Town Place, Woodbridge 

Memorial Day Distillers Festival
May 26, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Falls Church Distillers and nonprofit Operation Turbo are co-hosting a festival with spirits, beer, wine, barbecue and live music. Guests will have the opportunity to pack and personalize care packages for active-duty military personnel stationed overseas. // Falls Church Distillers: 442 South Washington St., Falls Church

Crawfish Boil at Bayou Bakery
May 26, 4-6 p.m.
Chef David Guas is welcoming summer New Orleans-style with a backyard crawfish boil. There will be live music, crawfish, classic sides like corn on the cob and cole slaw, hurricanes and Abita. // Bayou Bakery: 1515 N. Courthouse Road, Arlington  

ViVa Vienna!
May 26-28
Celebrate the community of Vienna at this family-friendly festival complete with amusement park rides, food, music, artisans, retail vendors, businesses, nonprofit organizations and a Memorial Day tribute. Memorial Day Weekend at Narmada Winery
May 26-28
All weekend long, Narmada Winery will offer complimentary wine tastings to military personnel. There will also be live music, lawn games and food specials. // Narmada Winery: 43 Narmada Lane, Amissville

Copperwood Memorial Day Brunch
Monday, May 28, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Memorial Day Brunch and Cookie Class at Wildfire

Victory in Europe Ice Cream Social
May 28, 1 p.m.
