Kristy and Bill Reynolds are so passionate about craft breweries in Northern Virginia they decided to wear their passion.
“It’s about supporting the craft industry,” Kristy says. “After all, we drink the industry.” After witnessing the collaboration between brewers in Loudoun County, Kristy, a real estate agent in Hamilton, and Bill, the T-shirt designer and an elementary school teacher in Purcellville, started CrafTshirts as a side venture, designing and printing T-shirts with the names of NoVA breweries.
Kristy says keeping up with the demand has been harder than they expected, and they sell both online and during the weekends at breweries. (CrafTshirts will set up at Old 690 Brewing Company in Hillsboro this Saturday.)
This week, CrafTshirts will join with the local brewing community Brewers Against Cancer in support of Forge Brew Works brewer Matt Rose’s wife, Kerri, who was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer last year while pregnant and is currently undergoing immunotherapy. Today is the last day to purchase the #kerriscure T-shirt with 100 percent of sales directed to her medical needs.
