Fashionable This Fall: For Far Less Than You Thought

Good morning, shoppers. I hope you’re all doing well today and, especially if a little sleepy like me , comforted by the fact that tomorrow is Friday. (I say this staying dark until about 7 a.m. stuff is for the birds.)

Regardless, to help us all put that weekend happy face on a tad early, I thought we could think about something that makes us really happy: shopping, of course! But, not just shopping, shopping for fall’s hottest fashions while sticking to our budgets. Sound impossible? Au, contraire!

To help illustrate that staying fashionable doesn’t have to mean breaking the bank, here are some trendy pieces at highs and lows for you, steals (under $100) and splurges ($100 and over). Ladies first; fellas, we’ll make sure you’re covered tomorrow.

Romantic Blouses

While the Pink Tartan Duchess Ruffled Shirt at Saks is oh so lovely, it costs $195. Meanwhile, the pretty purple Silvia SS Ruffled Shirt at Forever 21 is only $22.80.

Booties

The Modern Vintage Ruched Booties at Cusp exude style, but the price tag may just squash the budget, coming in at $275. At the same time, the Diba Grey Booties at Shoe Hive are also fabulous at only $69.

Statement Rings

You may be able to pay $370 for the stunning Stephen Dweck Flower Ring at Neiman Marcus, but you could also snag quite a deal and make quite a statement by purchasing something like the blue Floris Ring by celeb-favorite Rachel Leigh (sold at Nordstrom Trend, Intermix, Urban Chic and Sassanova in D.C.), which costs just $88.

Satchels

While the incredible Ferragamo Gancio Deerskin Satchel, available at Salvatore Ferragamo, speaks for itself, it also costs $2,050. Meanwhile, the Urban Expressions Caroline Frame Bag, available for pre-order at South Moon Under, pictured above, is a knockout as well, and only $74.

Above-the-Knee Boots

The $220 Calvin Klein Mazzie pair, available at Bloomingdales, is sure to turn some heads, but so are the $79.95 Top Suede boots by Chinese Laundry, found at DSW.

Skinny Jeans

You may be able to swing paying $225 for the Paige Premium Denim Blue Heights Jet Set Skinny Jean at National Jean Company, but the also stylin’ Indigo Baster Skinny Jean, offered by Top Shop, will only cost you $80.
