Shopping 2.0: Fashionology.com

Posted by The Editorial Desk / Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

(fashionology.com)Good morning, shoppers! If you have a busy day ahead of you,  you may want to ignore this post for now. Why? Because if you keep reading, you’re soon to become smitten with a spectacular new shopping site (or should I call it a time-sink?)! You, see Fashionology LA, a store for girls aged 7 to 14, which allows them to design and make their own clothes, has just launched a new site that allows online shoppers — of all ages — the same magical designing/shopping experience! Yes, it’s that cool!

Don’t believe me? Feast your eyes on the new fashionology.com and begin unleashing your creativity today! After all, now is a great time to buy; in celebration of the web launch, the store is offering 25 percent off orders placed through March 8 using the promotional code: makeit25.

(fashionology.com)To show off my mad design skills, which, quite honestly, are seriously lacking without a lot of technological help, I started off with the “Malibu” mood — this snow is making me want to move back to my sunny SoCal birthplace — and crafted an oh-so-fun dress thanks to embellishments like a “Surf Girl” large graphic, a little sparkle and a super cool little necklace. That was only the beginning of my Nat-ified collection.

Fashionistas of all ages: Have fun designing your own frocks and tell me about your masterpieces! I can’t wait to see what you think of fashionology.com — and find out if anyone becomes as enamored with the site as me!

I like shirt.woot.com. They have different design each day and only cost $10 + free shipping!

Natalie, do you know of any place where I can get good deals on swimsuits and beachwear? Just wanted to know what was out there other than J. Crew and Victoria’s Secret. Thanks!

ivy2jy: Thanks for the shirt.woot.com tip! As for good deals on swimsuits, check out the suits currently on sale at South Moon Under: http://tinyurl.com/cmbeqd

I am trying to find the site for shopping but all the ones I can find are articles about the company/clothes. What site actually allows you to shop?

If you go to http://www.fashionology.com, you should be able to shop; I’ve never had problems. Is that the store to which you’re referring?
