Alexandria Boutique Takes Us to Greece

I sure love shopping, but one thing I love even more is travel, and by far one of the favorite places I’ve ever visited was Santorini, Greece — breathtaking! Well, from what I’ve heard and photos I’ve seen, the Greek Isle of Kefalonia is every bit as beautiful. No wonder Kirribilla, known for designing absolutely gorgeous dresses, named their stunning Spring/Summer 2009 collection after it.
Just feast your eyes on the fantastic designs. How fun is this flirty fuschia number?! And, what about the cheery yellow one pictured to the left?
Now, imagine seeing the beauties in person. After all, a picture only tells so much.
Done. From 4 to 7 p.m. this evening, Hysteria (125 S. Faifax St., Alexandria) is hosting a Kirribilla Trunk Show featuring the Kefalonia collection, and the fantastic boutique is even offering hungry shoppers some savory Greek bites.
Now, that’s not a ticket to Greece, but the event certainly sounds like fun.
