Good morning, shoppers! I hope you all had as fun of a time as I did last week reading SWAG posts from fab guest hosts Kristin Elber, Julia Winkler, Kaitlyn Miller and Susan Anspach! I bet you did. After all, you’re ready to get rock-hard, bikini-ready abs in some fashionable workout wear (at an exclusive discount), stop traffic in some sexy new stilettos, stylishly enjoy summer’s hottest activities and buy a gift that will truly delight Dad!
Now, just in case your summer chores or your recent purchases coupled with that seasonal closet shift — or, if you’re like me, an impending move — have you realizing you need to clear the clutter from your closet, attic, garage, etc., great news! Warrenton’s Upscale Resale project, going on now, could provide the justification necessary to stop your procrastination.
Women Build for Fauquier Habitat for Humanity and The Partnership for Warrenton Foundation are teaming up to host and will benefit from an upscale rummage sale, which is accepting donation drop-offs of gently used household goods, sporting equipment, lawn and garden items, antiques, etc., (no clothing, though) June 15 through June 25 (Monday through Thursday, noon to 4 p.m.; Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m) at Warrenton Towne Center, next door to Jo Ann Fabrics at 251 W. Lee Hwy.
Sale dates:
Fri., June 26, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sat., June 27, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For more information on the sale or Warrenton revitalization efforts, contact the Partnership for Warrenton Foundation at 540-349-8606 or click here.
Ps. Vacation tip: If you plan to take a trip to the Myrtle Beach area this year, make sure to check out the new Market Common — great new shops with designer duds and fun gifts you can’t find elsewhere in the area in a truly gorgeous outdoor mall setting! Oh, and while there, make sure to get the grilled-cheese-and-shrimp sandwich at Tommy Bahama Cafe — just make sure to get a good run in beforehand.
