Alexandria: Where It’s at Yet Again

Good morning, shoppers! If you thought Alexandria was the place to shop last weekend — hey even President Obama, daughters in tow, stopped by to pick up some frozen custard — you may actually be in for more of a treat this weekend. That’s because Alexandria’s Old Town Boutique District is hosting a sidewalk sale this Friday through Sunday called the “Summer Shopping Stroll.” And, just look at all of the associated discounts!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been having a difficult time trying to determine just which deal is best. Of course, it’s hard to beat a store that hides a fab sale offer — from 10 to 30 percent off — inside of a chocolate gift! That is unless it’s a store that offers up to 75 percent off and various sweet treats! Talk about knowing the way to a girl’s heart.
