NoVA Invited to Clear Out the Clutter to Assist Local Artisans

Good morning, shoppers! Can you believe it’s the first official day of fall already? Time sure does fly, doesn’t it?

Actually, I bet you’ve been so busy lately that you haven’t had much time to clean out your abode, reassess all that you’ve accumulated and take stock of what to save and what to send elsewhere. And, that’s actually a good thing because now is the perfect time to do so.

This Saturday, Sept. 26,  from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (rain date: this Sunday, same hours) at the intersection of Commonwealth and Mount Vernon Avenues in Alexandria, Del Ray Artisans is holding its annual Yard Sale, and the group is accepting donations for it now. That’s just about anything from household goods to toys, books, artwork and supplies, furniture, etc. (just not non-designer clothing and broken items). If you have some things you’d like to donate, they may be dropped off at the gallery (2704 Mount Vernon Ave.) tomorrow, Sept. 23,  from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
