Two Win-win Events This Evening & Next Plus Terrific News for Twihards

Good morning, shoppers! Looking for a little incentive to start your holiday shopping a tad early — besides the fact that it’s really not that early after all with Sunday being Nov. 1? Fortunately, you can stop looking. Incredible incentives are practically surrounding you!

First of all, tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., South Moon Under at Reston Town Center, in partnership with DC Magazine, is celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month by offering shoppers 20 percent off all denim and 15 percent off their entire purchase, with 10 percent of the evening’s sales to benefit the Tigerlily Foundation.

Second, tomorrow night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., The Dandelion Patch in Vienna is hosting a “Gold for Good” event. Licensed gold buyers will be on hand from Golden Girls LLC, who will weight and test shoppers’ gold and pay them on the spot for it, plus donate 2.5 percent to ChildHelp. During the event The Dandelion Patch will also offer shoppers 20 percent off all in-store merchandise as well as champagne, treats and complimentary hand microdermabrasion treatments from Vitalia Medspa.
