Early December Shopping Delights

Good morning, shoppers! Even without any snow, it’s beginning to look — and sound and smell –  a lot like Christmas, isn’t it? The Container Store’s gift wrap wonderland is filled to the gills, radio stations are slowly adding a few carols to the mix and Starbucks baristas are whipping up Gingerbread Lattes.

A few top area boutiques are also pulling out all of the stops to make the season extra merry. For starters, today Alexandria’s Hysteria kicked off  what will be a 24-day holiday celebration, bringing shoppers like us one amazing prize per day, like hefty discounts and fun gifts-with-purchase. Today’s surprise gift: a 25-percent discount on all Orla Kiely bags and accessories. Don’t forget to keep stopping back.

And, finally, another early December delight coming soon is Mervis Diamond Importers’ 10th Annual Holiday Trunk Show, also this weekend (Friday through Sunday), taking place at all four stores.
