Good morning, shoppers! If, once again, you need a little something to cheer you up given the snowy forecast (I know I do!), here is some exciting news that could do just that: The Washington Design Center is hosting a sample sale, featuring the latest trends and products in home furnishings and accents discounted up to 75 percent, this Saturday, Feb. 13!
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., we’ll have the opportunity to shop hundreds of luxurious items including furniture, rugs, lighting, art and accessories from showrooms including: Henredon, ARBITER/Willem Smith, LUXE Studio, Pugrant, DSA Associates, Galleria Carpet & Rugs, Holland & Sherry, Century Furniture, J. Asher, Rist and others!
Even more reasons to go: Admission to the event is free. Also, the Washington Design Center is conveniently located at 300 D St. SW, above the Federal Center SW Metro Station.
I don’t know about you, but furniture and home accessories sound like perfect V-day gifts for this girl. (It seems that all of the snowed-in time has made beautifying the abode a bigger priority.)

modern furniture has dispelled all the age-old norms and introduced new materials, designs and shapes. Many years ago, wood was the main material for any style of furniture. Today, it has been replaced by synthetic fibers, cane. These materials are not only easy to maintain, but can be molded into many different shapes and are extremely lightweight as wood.
