Red Barn Mercantile Rolls Out the Red Carpet

Good morning, shoppers! Happy Friday!

What is there to not be excited about today?! Not only is the weekend so close we can taste it (from that happy hour wine to those waffles for breakfast), but it’s almost Oscar time, too! What’s not to love about an event that combines couture fashion, star power (um, Brad Pitt, George Clooney) and the magical world of movies?! I say nothing! And, apparently, I’m not alone.

The folks at Alexandria’s Red Barn Mercantile, also huge fans of the Academy Awards, are hosting a weekend-long Red Carpet Sale. Today through next Monday, March 8, they’ll be serving up popcorn and displaying Oscar winners on a big screen while offering 15 percent off all in-stock and special-order rugs — red and otherwise! Nearly 200 styles are available from outstanding designers including Amy Butler, Dash & Albert, John Robshaw, Serena & Lily (no relation to Gossip Girl) and Thomas Paul!
