Hi there, shoppers! Happy hump day!
Have plans for next Saturday but still unsure as to what you’ll do the night before? Here’s an option for you: Next Friday, April 30, Former Washington Redskin (and Penn State Nittany Lion) LaVar Arrington and his wife Trish are to host a runway event benefiting the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Caribbean Breeze. The 3rd Annual Spring-Summer Fashion Show, beginning at 9 p.m., will showcase the latest spring/summer trends available in five area stores (Cache, 4Her, Elite Shoes, D7 and Bachrach) as well as provide a sneak peek at a few fall looks.
Plus, women will be shown how one dress can be worn 12 ways. Likewise, men will be taught how to mix and match on a budget.
There will also be a special performance from D.C. native Jason Cerda.
Around 500 guests are expected. Want to be among them? Tickets are $15 in advance on the event website and will be $20 at the door.
