More Local Sales to Love

Hello there, shoppers! Here’s hoping you all had a terrific hot summer weekend! That is one that included a bit of rest. Trust me, you’re going to need some extra shopping energy to take advantage of the many MAJOR deals this week! The anniversary sale at Nordstrom is only the beginning!

For starters, Dharma & Leopold’s in Gainesville, formerly of Warrenton, is having a blowout sale, offering 50 percent off all summer clothes –  and convenient new hours (10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday).  Plus, the charming children’s store has announced a fantastic new rewards program for grandparents. The first Tuesday of every month is officially Grandparent’s Day at the shop; all grandparents have to do is proudly show off a photo of their grandchildren to receive 10 percent off their entire purchase. (Oh, and mark your calendar now for the store’s Grand Opening party on Sat., Aug. 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., promising refreshments, raffles, face painting and more.)

Another local sale that should have you in hysterics: The semi-annual sale at Hysteria, in Old Town Alexandria, where knockout summer items (from Citizens, Milly, Tory Burch and more) are currently 40 percent off, while they last!

You’ll also find irresistible sale goodness in Leesburg this week. Madisonbelle, though closed on Mondays, is offering store-wide savings of 25 to 75 percent on wear-now wear throughout the month. Plus, when you purchase sale items in July, you’ll receive a coupon for 20 percent off one regular-priced item, to be used anytime between Aug. 10 and Aug. 31.
