Hello there, shoppers! Sept. 8 Fashion’s Night Out returns to fashionable cities around the world for one very special night celebrating the art of fashion and the tremendous joy it brings. While NYC is the epicenter here in the states for the night’s festivities, the Metro-D.C. area, NoVA in particular, is not about to let our neighbors to the north have all the fun.
Actually, thanks to Alexandria’s BeautyFull Boutique and others, this year even brings a special soiree for NoVA’s plus-sized set: FNO Plus.
From 6-11 p.m. on Sept. 8, the store will play host to some of the most talked-about designers from Full-Figured Fashion Week. To be featured: high-end fashions from Curvysta, New York’s popular Pop Up Plus and accessory powerhouses Ear Candy and NickyB’s.
Plus, Fashion’s Night Out Plus will welcome the unveiling of the Arturo Rios Fall Hat Collection. Rios is known worldwide for his couture coifs, which you may have seen Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, among other celebs, sporting in your favorite glossies.
FNO Plus has also invited celebrity stylist and designer Rafael Cox of “Project Runway” Season 9; WPGC on-air personality Poet from the Sunday Brunch; Mrs. Jewell Green, owner of the Posh Boutique; comedian Queen Aishah and several other VIPs. Also, the event will include raffles every hour on the hour — and FNO Plustinis.
