Hello there, shoppers! You know how it goes when you wear new sneaks for the first time or do a whole lot of sight-seeing or shopping in older, perhaps not-so-walk-worthy shoes or sandals: blisters, blisters, blisters! But that doesn’t have to be the case thanks to one handy-dandy product that I relied on while walking 60 miles in last weekend’s Susan G. Komen 3-day for the Cure. This week’s Sure Thing: Dr. Scholl’s Blister Defense Anti-Friction Stick.
While I didn’t have much of a chance to break in my new kicks prior to the walk — and even through pouring rain during most of Friday’s 20 miles — I am happy to report two blister-free feet post-walk! And I believe it has a lot, if not everything, to do with Drymax socks and the above-mentioned stick, which I rolled over my feet twice a day.
The best part: The Dr. Scholl’s Blister Defense Anti-Friction Stick pack-of-four is only $22 on Amazon.
Happy shopping!
