Why They’re Tops
 
To identify the top plastic surgeons in our area, Northern Virginia Magazine turned to who else but area plastic surgeons—and a few otolaryngologists, since many of them also practice facial plastic surgery.
Specifically, we asked 142 of them to identify the board-certified plastic surgeons they would recommend most highly to a friend or family wishing to undergo each of the following procedures: breast augmentation, liposuction, rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), blepharoplasty (eyelid lift), abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), hair transplantation and breast reduction. These procedures were selected according to their popularity, determined in 2005 by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons®.
