Polls leading up to the governor election were a foreteller of the results handed down the evening of Nov. 3. Republican Bob McDonnell took the lead early and held on, winning 59 percent of the vote. And while Creigh Deeds put on a smile during his concession speech, and vowed to not “whine,” he did not mention any future moves he will make in the political arena.
