Taco and torta junkies should get acquainted with Aqui Es Mexico, a family-run Mexican/Salvadoran hybrid which seems to skew more toward Mexico than the latter.
Homemade tacos summon double-wrapped tortillas stuffed with myriad proteins, including chicken tinga (zesty, shredded chicken), marinated pork (thick chunks of savory meat) and grilled steak (my favorites, in that order). An impressive chorizo torta delivers zesty ground sausage bolstered by onions, jalapenos, beans and queso fresco (creamy yet chunky cheese spread).
