This place has the authentic, charming atmoshpere I look for in a Mexican Restaurant. You sink into the deep round leather chairs and forget the huge crowd arouond you. I started with a giant ( I mean giant!) Texas style margarita, chips and guacamole. It wasn't the best guac I have had (I like to consider myself a guacamole connoisseur), but it was in the top 5. The service was nice and accommidating but slow too refill water. I had the HUGE burrito, It was enormous and delicious, Shredded pork with rice, peppers, onions, cheese... the works. The Fajitas were just as impressive with a steaming plate of steak, peppers, onions and spicy sauce and the tortillas were not to thick. It was delicious!
This is not a place to go for dinner if you are planning a big night on the town afterwards. After a meal like that you are exhausted and want nothing more than a great pair of sweat pants and the couch! All well worth it.. you will go home stuffed and satified! |
