Excellent Thai food in a place that knows how to turn on the heat and serve quality food. So many local Thai restaurants try to please a timid palate and fall short as a result. If you go to a Thai restaurant looking for mild food, shame on you. If you want the real thing, Bangkok 54 is for you.

The decor and ambiance is typically Thai - very modern, low dim lighting, and glossy lacquered tables. The Bangkok Golden Crispy Chicken was amazing - crispy on the outside but warm & juicy on the inside. The accompanied cashews was a great pairing to the chicken & added the extra "crunch" that made the bites more satisfying. The Butternut Squash Curry was ordered "less spicy" than the norm but it was still very flaming spicy which only makes this place seem more authentic than the other Thai places that will play down the fiery heat of their food. Service was attentive but expect to do more pointing at the menu as English is not always the server's first language. Overall, great authentic food with fancy decor & ambiance!
