| Man sized meat sammiches!! |

I had a witty review written for Liberty Tavern about my first visit. It was great, amazing and something that women would throw their panties at...
But alas, I exceeded the 200 word limit. Unfortunately my overly verbose prose was denied resulting in a blank review.
I'm sorry, it was truly epic...and attempting to recreate that review is like asking Michaelangelo recreate his masterpiece with crayons.
So here's a review to fit in the 200 word limit. Liberty Tavern rocked my sox with their Primanti Brothers sammich (made with Polyface Farm raised beef). I needed a cigarette after eating that monster pile of meat...and I don't even smoke.

| American Bistro |

Are you 30 something or younger and looking for a place to meet people? This American Bistro on a Friday night around 10 PM is bustling downstairs. Laughter and drinks abound. The music is too loud for the over 40 crowd. If you fit into that age group, head on upstairs. There the music can still be heard but if you don't mind dining to a beat you can enjoy a meal and have a conversation too! Order the dry white wine, some of the best I have ever had, and a pizza. The pizza toppings are very fresh and the thin crust is good too. If you want to be adventurous, try the octopus appetizer; a little too chewy but the salad under it had a good taste! The waiter was very attentive. Maybe that was because there were only a dozen or so people to serve. Ambience? Remember, this is a bar. Have a couple more glasses of wine and head downstairs. That music isn't so loud after all. |
