An APC gallery wrap (N. Kaar)

Hello there, shoppers! If there’s anything that this girl loves more than fashion, it’s travel (and family and friends, of course). After all, memories are priceless. If only the travel itself were zero dinero. As much as I’d like to make a habit out of bouncing around Europe like I did on my honeymoon, the ol’ budget and responsibilities at home just don’t allow it. Fortunately, we Kaars always travel with a camera, make that cameras, and we aren’t afraid to use them. And fortunately there are companies like today’s Sure Thing: APC, Artistic Photo Canvas Prints.

Have a few photos from an exceptional trip or once-in-a-lifetime celebration? You could have amazingly affordable, totally personalized artwork on your walls in no time. That’s artwork that will take you back, over and over again, and be the talk of all of your parties.

Just upload or send in your film or slides to APC and allow their artists to personally oversee the printing of your images onto canvas and then hand-stretch them for those who prefer the gallery wrap (which I personally recommend). You don’t even have to worry about fading. Each canvas is sealed with a 100-plus-year protective top coat.

The company also offers effects like black-and-white and sepia tones, and they’ll even do a brush strokes effect, which makes photos look like an oil painting! So very cool. (I think I may have to order one of those featuring an image of my baby girl.)

We have a gallery wrap of a photo taken at a Santorini jewelry store, with doors opened up onto a veranda that overlooks the Mediterranean, in our main floor powder room (pictured above). I don’t think anyone has ever walked into that room without sharing oohs and aahs about it.  The same goes for a larger Santorini pic and a vast image of Villefranche downstairs. And when I look at the pics, my heart always flutters a bit.

Ready to give your memories the main stage?

Happy shopping!
