The 2012 DC Newsbabes Bash will be held at The Howard Theatre on June 19 from 7-9 p.m. Tickets for the event range from $50 to $75. All proceeds from this year’s efforts will go to benefit The GW Mammovan, the mobile mammography service created by George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates. The GW Mammovan provides free mammograms to local women in need.

At the recent Newsbabes Kick-Off fundraiser held at the new Kiehl’s store at Tysons Corner, the host committee was presented with a $5,000 check from Kiehl’s—all of which will go toward the GW Mammovan initiative. Looks like the team is already off to a great start!
