Everyone loves a good pair of boots– they’re a staple item every winter season. However, ditch those riding boots in favor of a different footwear trend. While your main concern is staying comfortable, take a look below at these three ideas for changing up your shoe game.
Loafers are a prime example of easy-yet-stylish. You literally slip them on and you’re ready to go. You can wear them with jeans or dress them up with a black dress. If you’re more traditional in your style choices, then go for a plaid or leopard pair. If you’re willing to take more of a risk, then try a metallic or graphic pair. Regardless of your decision, loafers will be your new bff when it comes to shoes this season.

Trends in footwear follow the same pattern with anything in fashion–what’s old is new again and vice versa. From round to square, the shape of the front of your shoes is always changing. This time around, the focus is all about a pointed-toe, which is actually a very flattering shape for women because it lengthens the leg. Flats and oxfords are so versatile, so any pattern or color will work.

The sporty-chic trend isn’t new, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to incorporate sneakers into your wardrobe. And I’m not talking about just wearing them to the gym either. Slip-on sneakers are great for when you’re in a hurry but still want your shoes to showcase your style. Other options include the typical lace-up sneakers, but with a twist. Bright colors and textures give them a fresh update for fall.
