This Little Piggie Goes to Clarendon

I just can’t contain my excitement about bacon!

If you love bacon just as much as me (give or take a little), head to 3 Bar & Grill today at 5 p.m. for their pig roast on the patio. FREE pulled pork sandwiches, one per guest while supplies last.  There will also be a 3 course bacon infused menu available for $30 which includes their dessert of a Bacon Studded Waffle with Maple Bacon Ice Cream.  You can wash it down with some intriguing bacon cocktails (aka “Pork-tails”) like “Breakfast” – a mix of bourbon, maple syrup, and orange marmalade with a bacon dusted rim.    

“3” prides itself on its ability to really pig out – an obsession with pork, I mean.  The restaurant hosts a whole week for bacon in October and deserves the name “the house that pork built.” 

The occasion for it all triples my enthusiasm.  The Travel Channel will be filming there for an episode titled “Bacon Paradise” – bacon AND travel?!

Music swells.  Julie Andrews chimes in with the chorus on my favorite things.
