The Proposal (as told by Beth): “We were on a spring break trip to California traveling along the coast (Redwood, San Fran and Yosemite). We were having a great trip so far, and our last stop was in Yosemite National Park. We stayed at a wonderful resort where we had our own ‘cabin in the woods.’ We decided since it was one of our last nights we would go out into a little path area that has a ‘sunset bench’ that overlooks a valley and a beautiful sunset. It was there once others had left that he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
