The Law Office of Christopher Leibig represents individuals accused or being investigated for serious crimes, and handles misdemeanor cases on a select basis. Chris began his career at the Office of the Public Defender for the City of Alexandria, where he worked from 1996-2002 handling all varieties of criminal cases from Driving While Intoxicated to Murder. Since entering private practice in 2002, he has practiced exclusively criminal defense.

Chris regularly handles serious felony matters throughout Virginia, appearing most often in federal court in Alexandria, and state court in Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties. Chris has handled many high profile and complex cases throughout Virginia, and been recognized regularly for excellence in criminal defense by Washingtonian Magazine, Super lawyers, Northern Virginia Magazine, and Best Lawyers/US New and World Report. The philosophy of this firm is to avoid a “volume practice” model and handle a relatively small number of matters at a time.
