Belmont Ridge Road Widening
What: widening Belmont Ridge Road from two to four lanes on a six-lane right of way from Hay Road to Gloucester Parkway
When: late 2018

I-66 HOT Lane
What: outside the Beltway, 22.5 miles of new express lanes alongside three regular lanes from I-495 to University Boulevard in Gainesville; expanding park and ride lots for access to the express lanes and more than 4,000 new park and ride spaces
When: 2022

Fairfax County Parkway Widening
What: widening Fairfax County Parkway (Route 286) from four lanes to six between Route 29 and Route 123
When: late 2023

I-95 Express Lanes Southern Expansion
What: extended the Interstate 95 Express Lanes about two miles beyond the flyover ramp where the 95 Express Lanes previously ended, north of Garrisonville Road in Stafford County
When: opened November 2017

I-395 Express Lane Extension
What: extending the 395 Express Lanes for eight miles north from Turkeycock Run near Edsall Road to Eads Street in Arlington; two existing HOV lanes are being converted to express lanes and a third lane is being added, providing three reversible express lanes
When: open to traffic fall 2019, final completion summer 2020

Route 1 Widening
What: expanding from four to six lanes between Marys Way and Annapolis Way; enhancing access to the Woodbridge VRE kiss-and-ride facility; new Route 1 bridge at Marumsco Creek; adding a median and turn lanes from U.S. 1 to south of Horner Road on Occoquan Road; additional through and turn lanes on Route 1 and Occoquan Road; 10-foot shared-use path and six-foot sidewalk
When: fall 2019

395 South Widening
What: adding a fourth lane from Duke Street to Edsall Road
When: part of I-395 Express Lane Extension

Jones Branch Connector
What: constructing a new link from Jones Branch Drive to Route 123 in Fairfax
When: final completion late 2019

Route 7/GW Blvd. Overpass
What: extending George Washington Boulevard from its current intersection at Bridgefield Way-Research Place south to Russell Branch Parkway via a new bridge over Route 7
When: summer 2020
