House Republicans are split in their responses to President Donald Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey. Northern Virginia Rep. Barbara Comstock said she couldn’t “defend or explain” the timing of Comey’s dismissal. Northern Virginia Democrat Rep. Don Beyer called the dismissal “outrageous.”

A Dominion High School student is facing charges for threats made to the school on social media.
