Charlottesville’s mayor says police kept him in the dark about the security measures taken prior to the fatal white supremacist rally earlier this month. He says the city’s police chief told him to “stay out of my way.”

Arlington County has made changes to Wilson Boulevard between North Patrick Henry Drive and Glebe Road, including new signs and crosswalks, in hopes of improving pedestrian safety.
