Virginia House approves Amazon bill; Wintry mix expected for commute home

Northern Virginia’s daily dose of local and national news for Tuesday, Jan. 29.

With an 83-16 vote, the Virginia House approved $750 million in Amazon subsidies. The debate lasted under 10 minutes on the floor, and with the Senate already passing the bill, it is now up to Gov. Northam to approve. (The Washington Post)
