All of this is in response to the upcoming summer Metro shutdown. Details of Amazon HQ2’s $23 million incentive agreement proposed by Arlington County were released on Tuesday. Amazon will occupy more than 5.5 million square feet of office space in the county if it follows the contract, which outlines a timeline of how much office space the company needs to create over the span of 14 years to maintain the deal. (NBC Washington)
