Sustainable Mobility for Arlington County, an advocacy group dedicated to ensuring that Arlington residents have sustainable transportation options, is calling on Amazon, Inc. to add bike lanes to its design plans for HQ2. Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority reported annual revenue of more than $1 billion, for the fiscal year from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. The revenue is up $71.8 million over the previous year. It includes sales of alcohol, license fees and other revenue throughout the state. (Inside NoVA)
Virginia released state data on what schools are performing best in terms of students passing their Standards of Learning tests from the 2018 to 2019 year. The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is expanding its services in Prince William County by moving its Manassas location to a shopping center on Interstate 66, as well as opening a service outlet in Dumfries. The Manassas location is expected to open at its new location on Aug. 19. (Inside NoVA)
