Battle for Eire is a new, virtual reality attraction that follows the heroic story of fairy warrior Addie on her quest to retrieve the Heart of Eire from an evil villain. On this motion-based theater simulator, riders are immersed in the action via 360-degree virtual reality headsets. “With Battle For Eire and the 360-degree virtual reality, riders can have a unique experience each time they ride,” said Kevin Lembke, park president for Busch Gardens and Water Country USA.
Kings Dominion

Twisted Timbers is a hybrid roller coaster that combines the nostalgia of traditional wooden coasters with the thrilling maneuvers of steel tracks. As visitors travel the 3,000 feet of track through an imaginary abandoned apple orchard, the cars twist, loop, barrel-roll, drop and reach speeds of over 54 miles per hour.
Sesame Place
Langhorne, PA
Everyone’s favorite grouch takes the helm on a brand new hybrid wood-steel coaster named Ocsar’s Wacky Taxi. Only the second roller coaster to ever debut at Sesame Place, this ride will give little thrill seekers tons of excitement with twists, turns and hills. Riders must be 40-inches tall to ride in the bright yellow cab cars with a supervising companion, or 46-inches to ride alone.
Six Flags America

The focal point of Six Flags’ Hurricane Harbor Water Park is the new, splash-filled Wahoo River. With features that include rolling waves, sprayers, waterfalls and dumping buckets, floating along this river is anything but lazy. For those who want to take a break and work on their tan, the attraction boasts nearly 2,500 feet of deck space lined with hundreds of lounge chairs.
Hersheypark
Hershey, PA
The Boardwalk at Hersheypark will debut two new water rides in 2018. On the Breakers Edge Water Coaster, a hydromagnetic coaster with flying saucer turns, riders can hop onto four-person rafts and splash their way through the exciting twists, tunnels and drops. Also new this year, the Whitecap Racer takes the old-fashioned fun of a racing down a slide on a carnival mat and turns it into a water attraction. The Whitecap Racer features six color-coded racing lanes, a timing system, and two sets of looping tunnels. Visitors can race against each other or try to beat their own personal records.
