Here’s your foodie word of the day:
mixitarian (n.): a meal plan option from Territory that “expands on a paleo template with a few carefully chosen grains, legumes and natural sweeteners.” Formerly known as Power Supply, the Alexandria-based company rolled out new lines of prepared meals this spring. Along with “wholesome real food,” the mixitarian diet includes quinoa, brown rice, maple syrup and honey but no corn or soy.
