The Heritage Brewing brand started in Manassas with a patriotic-themed tap room and corresponding beer names (e.g.: Freedom Isn’t Free IPA). But soon after, the veterans who started the company broke out of Prince William, canning beers for distribution all over the mid-Atlantic, entering the cold-brew coffee field (Veritas Coffee) and opening a second location in Arlington. The Clarendon location is a full-service restaurant with better-than-bar food, plus an on-site bean roasting program and a latte on draft. Next up: Heritage is heading back to Manassas for an expansion, relocating and expanding threefold, with plans for a brewpub, including one at the new space.
