Put down the controller and check out a fitness blog for “average joes”.

Video games and staying in shape may not always go hand-in-hand, but Nerd Fitness founder Steve Kamb is hoping to change all that.
Described as “a fitness website for nerds and average Joes“, Nerd Fitness is tailored to meet the needs of people with sedentary lifestyles, and equates reaching higher physical goals with “leveling up” in video games.
Along with workout tips and tricks, the site also features recipes, success stories and motivational tips and tricks (like this video of Kamb working out around the world). The thought process behind the site is simple: the more you can do physically, the happier you’ll be. Nerd Fitness aims to help its readers level up not only their workouts, but also their lives.
