KidsDoc is a $2 app that might just save you hundreds. Created by the American Academy of Pediatrics, it offers advice for treating your child based on his or her symptoms.

To start, simply pick the affected part of their body or their predominant symptom, and go from there. This app won’t take on a serious illness–if your child’s symptoms seem above the level of at-home care, the app will recommend that you seek emergency medical treatment. KidsDoc is available on iTunes and Google Play.
